Karen Brooks-WellsKaren is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania who has worked in a variety of settings since 1988 including outpatient, school based, inpatient, assisted living, therapeutic foster care, residential, and behavioral health in home services. Karen specializes in working with individuals that struggle with anger, anxiety and/or mood disorders, self-esteem issues, stress management, grief and loss, and trauma recovery.

Karen sees the therapeutic relationship as paramount, walking along side individual’s as they discover and realize their potential in overcoming life’s challenges. Karen’s therapeutic approach is eclectic in nature including client centered therapy, reality therapy, cognitive behavioral interventions, strength-based techniques, enhancing positive coping strategies, and motivational interviewing.
