Caitlin A. Campanella, MS, LPC
Caitlin Campanella is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. In addition, Caitlin is an adjunct professor of psychology at Lehigh Carbon Community College.
Caitlin graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Moravian College, and earned a Master of Science Degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College.
Caitlin’s interests include working with adults and young adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, self-esteem, adjustment disorders, substance abuse, LGBT issues, etc. Caitlin adapts her approach for each person, conceptualizing each case on an individual basis. She has an eclectic view of therapy, incorporating aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, client-centered therapy, mindfulness, and psychodynamic techniques.
Caitlin enjoys building strong, trusting therapeutic relationships and providing a safe, non-judgmental environment for people looking to explore their emotional struggles. Caitlin’s encouraging approach allows clients the opportunity to examine thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are presenting challenges. She helps her clients work towards a solution by providing the insight necessary for them to increase their emotional and behavioral awareness.
Caitlin has experience providing counseling in private practice and at the DeSales University Counseling Center. She has also provided outpatient counseling in community-based clinics, as well as intensive outpatient group counseling for substance abuse and mental health clients.
